Alluminium brazing furnaces
Main Features:
- Easy fluxant application
- Furnace atmosphere less critical then in vacuum brazing
- Simple plant layout
- Low maintenance costs
- No need to remove the fluxant from the pieces
- Initial investment is lower then in vaccum brazing
- Reducing assembly costs
- With the Nocolok process, scrap pieces are easily recycled by reprocessing them
General Purpose:
- Continuous plants for the production of such Aluminium heat exchangers as radiators, heaters, condenser, evaporators and oil refrigerators
Nocolok is a brazing process employing non-corrosive fluxes and is nowadays recognised as the best solution for Aluminium brazing.
The outer structure of the drying furnace is built in iron, the inner structure in AISI 304 stainless Steel.
The drying furnace is partioned in three zones: each zone is equipped with its own burners and ventilators, temperature is independently monitored in each furnace zone and the conveyor belt speed is controlled by an inverter.
The brazing furnace conists of six zones, of which three are heated with gas and three are electrically heated, in order to achieve precise temperature control in the brazing zone.
After brazing, the pieces are sent into the cooling zone, where the muffle plunges into two water tanks, by which heat is removed.
The loading and unloading vestibules are equipped with glass fiber curtains that prevent air from entering the muffle.
Nitrogen consuption is thus greatly reduced. Finally, the conveyor belt is driven by an inverter, so as to achieve the desired speed variations.
